With the oil situation what it is and congress now wanting to control the auto industry this will be the fastest Corvette from the factory.

I think it will be down hill after this years run as far as performance goes.

I'm glad to see that they require advanced driving school before you can take delivery.

I think that is definitely a possibility. I hope it's not true, but we will see.

The owner told me that GM is probably going to stop production of them early, before they reach the 2k that they planned to make for the year, due to the financial problems that they are going through. If so, it would be a sad day for the automotive enthusiasts, but good for the owner. His would be worth more money!
