08 Chevy Suburban from hell

I almost fell off my chair, wow a very sorry state it's in........

Yes, the exterior was no exception either.

That thing is going to need a carpet kit ;)

Sorry you got stuck with this. I also run into a job like this 2 or 3 times a year. Do the best you can and call it a day :sarge

I did this about a week ago, turned out pretty good but not 100%. I am going to upload the afters soon.

Sorry. I almost puked. My condolences.

Just go get a HazMat suit, hold your nose and go for it like your hair's on fire.

Good luck Nick!

Thanks Bill.

I almolst puked when cleaning it, really nasty chocolate odor.

Looks like one of my typical jobs.....I feel your pain!

Have you seen worse? Is this nothing compared to some of the others you have done? LOL.

Having worked in the Car Wash business (some years back) I would guess the interior was "cleared of objects" prior to the pictures. I can't wait to see the after shots. Steaming?

Jack

Not sure, I didnt move anything.

A new carpet set might be cheaper than the detail!!!

Thats what I was thinking.

I did clean all the leather and vinyl which was in terrible shape as well.

I'd hate to see the inside of their house!

Me too.

Did they ever find the body?

Good luck with this one Nick!!:banghead:

Thanks Barry. I will post the after shots soon.

By the way, I cleaned it with APC, a shop vac and hot water. Nothing fancy.

Sorry this had to happen to you, Nick.. I get a few of these every now and then, and thank goodness, I have a Mity HP60 Extractor to handle it.

Not long ago, I had a BMW station wagon that almost made you throw up when you opened the door it smelled so bad, and the people were I guess used to it, didnt think it was as bad as it hit me! :)

Going through the underside of the rows of seats, I found a half-eaten, ham and cheese sandwich that had turned green and black from all the nastiness and spores of whatever happens to things when they rot!! Just removing that thing made the whole car start to smell alot better...

I have had greatest success using a couple of Meguiars products for this kind of carpet disaster - Meguiars Quik Out Carpet Stain Remover, and Meguiars Odor Eliminator - used together, pretty formidable in cleaning and killing the odor for good..

I know, its hard to believe, but alot of people use their cars as appliances only, and dont think a hoot about the mess, until they cant get in and out any longer because of all the trash in it.. :):):)

But that's why they call us DETAILERS to bail (literally) them out !!

I am sure you did a great job !! Congratulations on getting through that mess.

Here is a little something I did yesterday as well. Both were polished last year but were washed to get the dust off them, the owner took them to a car show. The Vette is about 95% defect free.

Hopefully Bill will enjoy the photos.

WOW Nick. You earned whatever they paid you on that one.:notworthy: Wait, I take that back. Whatever they paid you was not enough.

Great job cleaning up that mess.:hurray::thumbup::hurray:
