Wow! That car is amazing, and the detail job makes the paint...I cant even find a word.

What car are you referring to?



The performance is impressive, last place in regards to Dodge and Ford's supercars is not. Especially since the Viper and GT have been out for a couple of years. :grinno:

No car at all, just that if you want a better interior and 500hp be prepared to pay 2x to 3x the price of the Z06.

Lorne, Should I keep on posting comparison results?



1st and 2nd in most reviews when compared to all 3 and 100k in the bank over the Ford GT. I don't recall seeing the viper being rated ahead of or faster then the Z06.



Couple of years? All these tests are against the new viper coupe, not the SRT/10 viper that has been out for a few years.



Is your snake a GTS? Always had fun with my buddy in his 96 GTS at the roadcourse.

Those sunglasses on the center console look like something you'd find at the convenience store. He needs some nice Maui Jims!!
 
Wonderful machine; beautiful detail!! I saw one at the Tokyo Motor Show a few months ago, and it looked fantastic. The only thing I thought could be improved were the headlights - they seemed kind of cheap and "plasticky" somehow (maybe I'm just used to the pop-ups). I think a "gatling gun" type set up under the lens covers would look pretty fine. Love that car, though. :clap:

I should've been more clear, I was referring to straight line acceleration.



You seem to have misinterpreted my screen name. I have a 96 Mustang Cobra, not a Viper. :(



I like the new z06 a lot, I will be considering the 1st gen 405 hp next year when I get something newer.

I've never been a fan of the predecessors of this vette. It just did nothing for me. After the redesign though, I really drool everytime I see one, let alone a Z06. I think Chevy really hit a winner with this design.



I do have one question, why is the parking brake so high up? It looks like its still a little excited from the joyride...lol ;) :grinno:
 
What a sweet car to detail. They're really growing on me, but I just can't get past those big ugly plastic flare things on the rear wheel well/fender area.



Seeing that 505hp badge makes my '04 suddenly seem rather inadequate.
