'06 Mitsubishi Evolution IX detailed pics (no 56k)

Looks amazing! Very wet looking for white. :)

When it comes to adding another coat of wax, I get the best results applying it after the next wash.

LOOKING GREAT BUDDY! I didn't think you'd come to Autopia haha, looks like I need to get some pics of my car up now.

The XXX really made that white WET looking, you made a great wax choice :D.

I couldn't have done it without you Mitch! I just ordered some Duragloss AquaWax so we will see what that does after a few more coats of the XXX!

Very sweet car! I wish I could have on of those...do you race at all? Autocrossing and such? That car must handle like a beauty.

Thanks. Nothing was applied by machine. I did everything by hand. I figure in a year or two I will strip everything and machine apply some polish and go from there.

I used the Blackfire "Gloss Enhancing Polish". Since they are local (Tampa) they recommend this and I though I would give it a try. They are some good people at Classic Motoring Accessories - Car Care and Detailing Supplies!!! I have always been a Meguiars "3-Step" fan, but wanted to step it up a little after buying the Evo, and they talked me into it!

Your in Tampa? If you would like hit me up and Id do one job on your Evo for no charge :) Im trying to build up a showcase for my work, and that would be a huge favor to me !

It's a SWEET product for it's price...that's what I used in my quickie wash and wax thread if you saw :D.

I saw your post and the SE is looking nice! I can honestly say that the XXX makes more of a wet look than the Blackfire wax. Can't wait to apply the Aquawax!

I am in Orlando, but could drive to Tampa for a freebie! There are some fine scratches in the paint that I want a seecond opinion on. You have to really look at the paint up close in the right light to see it. The Blackfire polish did not get rid of it. I think only a DA will get it out. I would like to get rid of the scrathces and I wanted to pick up a DA for myself.

Just did a wash and followed up with the DG Aquawax. This stuff is awesome!

No it is the Injen Super SES. Quieter and a little stealthier than most of the other exhausts out there for the Evo.

Excellent!

Great looking detail and pictures.

-hit those spots under the rear quarter next time :)

I bet it's a blast to drive.
