06 GTO w/ new rims: Fresh detail

So I got new rims for my car a week or two ago, but I don't have a good camera. I borrowed my parents camera and took some pictures after a quick detail. I wanted to see how P21S looked over this sealant and it seems like it just added depth without altering the color. Too bad its protection will be gone in 2 weeks. Enjoy. The first image is my new desktop. The rims are 18x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear.

Wash: DP 4-in-1 rinseless wash

Protection: Tropi-Cares TC-3 w/ P21s Concours paste wax

Rims: Sealed with Optimums Opti-Seal

Tires: Tropi-Care's tire shine

Windows: DP Krystal Vision glass cleaner

Trim: 303 Aerospace

 In my opinion that is a perfect match with that color and those rims. I have to say with black rims I think the polished lip is a must. Are there any other mods and if so what kinda numbers. Good job :2thumbs:

Here's my mod list. Nothing major as far as power, I wanted to get my suspension sorted out before adding more power. The stock suspension can't really handle the stock amount of power. Next up is a cam swap at minimum and I might add some heads to that also.

Suspension: Pedders -3/8" & +5/16 springs, 9195s, Harrop X-member bushings, Super Pro RR, F/R endlinks, Noltec diff insert, BMR STB

Drivetrain:LS7 clutch, GMM street w/ LSS/C6 knob

Power: SLP LM1, P&P TB, K&N drop in

Appearance: Grafxwerks vinyls, spoiler delete, 18x8.5" & 19x9.5" AZA Z-1s black/polished lip

Well done. The Goat looks sharp. I like the polished lip. What size tires are you running? I definitely think the stock wheels should be a little wider on those cars. :goodjob

275/30 in back much better then the 235/40s I had back there stock. The problem with putting big tires on the car is the rear fender lips. They rub the tires if you don't have the suspension working right. Mine still rub a little even with the lift springs and stiffer shocks in the back. I am going to have to grind down the lips in the near future.

Very nice detail and I like the new wheels. I have P21S on my wife's car and it lasts about 4 weeks. Not too bad!

General tires on that? Interesting.

General Exclaim UHPs are the best tire I have had on that car. I had them on my stock 18s and won't be using anything else.

They grip better then my $300 Bridgestone Potenzas that I had on there first. They have awesome wet and dry traction. My only complaint is that the sidewall is soft so they aren't the best handling tire, but then again neither is the 4000lb GTO.

They 18s are $120 each and the 19s were $145.
