05 Ferrari 575 M Maranello

One of my favorite customers got a new toy for the Ferrari show this weekend. He's going to compete with it so he put us to work.

This was no restoration project but it needed some love to make it pop for the show. I didn't get very many good shots.:( Still trying to get better with the camera. This car looked very good before we started but after we were done.

Car turned out much better than these pics show. I should have put it in the sun. When we do more cars in our shop we will be burning up the camera. I want before and afters all over our walls.

Anyhow, enough excuses.... here's some less than impressive pics of a very impressive car -

We spent a lot of time fixing the little things that judges would deduct for. The car was actually well polished other than some dried white wax/polish here and there. We just went over it with Ultima's Paint Guard and their Tire and Trim Guard.

Car looks great...god I would love to drive that.

How do you like the Ultima paint guard? I guess its a sealant how would it compare to other sealants most of us use?

I with Stephan on this....It sure would be fun to drive a car like that. With all the weight loss that I have had I mayeven fit into to it.

Don't shoot yourself in the foot, Troy. Nothing wrong with those pictures.

I have lost alot of weight to, but still question if I could fit in this. fun to try.

yeah the pictures look great, unless you go out and get yourself a digital slr you are kind of stuck with the rest of us on picture taking...although keep on getting cars like that to detail and you will get one soon.

Sorry for the delayed response. I crashed last night. :passout:

I have been trying out the Ultima Paint Guard and Tire & Trim Guard and this customer wanted me to use it. From what I have seen so far the Paint Guard gives a very nice finish and it is super easy to use. Same with the Tire & Trim Guard. If you want wet-look tires this might not be the product for you although you can build up layers with it. Four Star is having a clinic in our detail bay on the 21st, 22nd & 23rd of this month and they will be featuring the Ultima Products.

We are applying it to Ron's (bluecpe) corvette today so he will probably post some feedback about it. So far I really like it. It looks like we will be carrying the Ultima line in our store and on our online store as soon as I can get it on there.

I need to read up on how to take better pictures. I have before but I've obviously forgotten it all. I do have a tri-pod and I will be using it more in the shop setting.

It looks like Ultima will be our product of choice but we will use any product that we carry at the customers request.
