Hey guys, well first of all, let me tell you, this car was in HORRIBLE condition, I couldnt believe how dirty the car was, after a full wash I clayed it, took me 3 hours to clay btw, and I ended up destroyed my brand new bar :(... The car was so dirty that when I dragged the clay along some of the fenders that it would get stuck with the amount of dirt that came up on it, at first I thought I had not washed the car good enough, so I took it outside, washed the fender, and the same thing happened, I tried some quick detail and a microfiber to try and buff it out, it wouldnt budge and so the only thing I could use was the clay :( here is an example of a section...

(sorry for the blurry picture)

Here is another section of the car which the clay was useful for

After this I was very dissapointed, when I brought out my PC and my orange pad out, I applied some Optimum compound, set the PC to 4000 rpm, and slowly worked a section of the fender (there were A LOT of water spots and oxidation on the hood/front fenders) after this I applied some Optimum Polish onto a white pad, and made sure to buff out the product real nice along with any of the remaining swirls/oxidation, After this step I was dissappointed in the fender I had done, the oxidation was totally GONE but the shine that was there was not nearly as good as where there was the water spots ????, now at this point I was extremely confused...I had used this same process on my 03 mach 1 with only 3800 miles and the paint turned out BETTER and shinier then before...so I took the time to use a little more polish, to see if it would work it out, then I even applied a glaze, then some EX with caranuba with a gray polishing pad, and still nothing????!!!! here is the example on the hood where I tried, the left is the shiny part and the right is the part where I had done....

now here is the front fender I did with the same process I used on my mach...

Now I'm not sure why this happened, or if I did something wrong? but I'd hope you guys would be able to tell me if anything whats going on here...but anyways, Here are some more pictures of the final product, I ended up using the Optimum polish with a white pad on the whole car, to take out minor swirls/scratches, then applied a light glaze, then applied a coat of EX sealent with caranuba by hand to finish it off, after this I detailed the interior, vacuum, windex, carpet cleaner, leather cleaner, quick detailer mist/interior detail to all panels/dash/misc parts, after this I cleaned the wheels/wheel wells, etc etc, made sure all the door jambs were clean/waxed, and I'm sure I forgot to mention something but I did it!!

SORRY FOR THE RANT there are more pictures below of the finished product
