Just completed with the help of three GI castoff's("Bing",Mark Zamzow, Aubrey Clifton) this vehicle had a major re-spray and the repairs were nice....................wet sanding and finishing..............not so nice. DA sand pigtails and deep holograms everywhere, and with a Premier carbonfiber body kit installed with tight spots the job was fun/hard at the same time.
Mark and Richie during the wash portion of the correction.
Marring on "B" pillar.
No time to mess around, pulled out the DeWalt and black twisted wool to level the defects.
Working small areas with three inch pad.
Removed the rear grills to be able to correct tight areas on the new rear bumper.
Camera was having a hard time picking out the sand scratches and holograms, this pic you can see the semi circular evidence of holo's.
Richie correcting the "C" pillar area.
Inspecting the finish during the compounding step.
Aubrey from Dallas coming in for some "supplemental" training and de-programming, learning it is all in "The application" as long as you are using the right "application" LOL(yes this statement is for the "MING" aka "The Chord" aka "The innovator").
Utilizing the new version of the Griots polisher which is the "poo".
Body shop somehow got a clear rubberlike substance in the honeycomb grills......major PITA to correct but got it done with some "steaming action" and time......
Engine required light cleaning, pic of the 6.2 litre tightness.
Finish polishing all complete, there would be no LSP applied as Premier is wrapping the entire vehicle in thier new satin film.
