Thats was strange. Copy and paste from Word 2007 ended up with all the HTML being displayed...

I'll have a full write up done tonight or tomorrow. But here is what I did with 5.5" Lake Country CCS pads and a Porter Cable.

Primed pad (not to saturation point)

1 Bead of M*05 onthe face of pad

PC at speed 5 w/ orange CCS with heavy pressure for 3-4 passes (occasional spray of water)

PC at speed 6 w/ orange CCS with light pressure for 2-3 passes

Left polish on surface, then changed to black CCS with light pressure for 2-3 passes until dry

IPA wipe for good measure

DONE

The M105 and M205 were both used with varying pressure and pads from start to finish. Only on really bad RIDS did I need to multi-step the polishing media from M105 to M205. Pad change was extremely helpful.

I also let it sit overnight with no wax or sealant on the paint to see if this was defect free from paint swelling or some other super-natural cause. IPA wipes are getting challenged these days, so I dont know what else to do to justify that the defects were genuinely removed.

Following afternoon, I sealed the paint with Zaino Z5 and then Swissvax Concorso.

All-in-all, this was a good experience.

I will say that Meguiars has my business now for polishing compounds.
