04 carrera black (no 56k)

yeah they sure are nice ciro, the turbo i have a few pics of has those wheels and it's amazing how easy they are to clean, expensive as all hell though.

Here's a close-up shot of my PCCB's:

And you know you can't have PCCB's without matching seatbelts!:grinno:

Trust me, it's one sweet ride which I've always dreamed of.

What killed me, was then Porsche made the GT3-RS avalible in the USA.... DAMN! Now THAT'S a killer street/track Porsche and as close to a GT3 RSR as you can get.

Turbo, nice to have all the grunt, but didn't like the 4 wheel system. Still a killer car no doubt! I've seen a few Porsche C2S with the new turbo wheels.

To be honest, most teams that track the 911's use steel anyway. Between calipers, pads and floating rotors, these work as good if not better than PCCB's.

The only other advantage of PCCB's other than no brake dust is the weight. They are less than steel. Also the hats never rust (stainless steel)!!

Just be careful if you ever do a wheel-off detail. Make sure the customer has TWO wheel hangers, and if not, do not try to replace the wheels on PCCB equipt cars with one.

Have a good evening.

that's a slick set of wheels dean, congrats.

Thank you sir!

Black sure is a PITA, but there's something about Porsche black...

When I spec'd out the car, I tried to change the wheels to painted black center with a silver lip, painted seatbacks, painted trim on the inside, (rear console, and a few others) then I wanted the GT3 type dials with yellow pointers. Problem was the car went into production. If I changed my order, I have to wait much longer. Ah, maybe I should have waited, I mean after all it took several months anyway, what's a few more?
