'02 Mercedes Benz E320

Thanks, you guys! MBenz...spot-on on the mods.

Rick, you're too kind, my man. Just like getting a compliment from Bryan, I'm all giddy. :D You guys are amazing at what you do and I'm always grateful for the education as well as the inspiration.

I've got a Nikon D80 and I've learned that photography is like detailing...the more you learn the more you realize what you don't know. :lol I was hoping to get some artsy-fartsy shots of this car, but I didn't get the time...soon, though. I just bought a 50mm f/1.8 lens and am having a blast playing with it. I definitely need to get better at capturing images while detailing - especially bringing out paint imperfections in light colors. If I could just quit my day gig and play with the rotary and camera all day...:chuckle:

Anyway, quick update on this one...

Got the car in for a quick ONR wash and second coat of sealant last evening. Here's a shot after using the mister on the roof:

Not enough light for more "after" shots, but the finish looks really nice. It pops, but it's a soft pop, if that makes sense. I've always loved how Ze Germans do silver, and the Benz seems to look great with DGPS. I'm really liking that product, and I bought v2 when it was on blowout...I can only guess what v3 must be like.

Also, got another one on the books...

This is an '07 E63, and the thing is just an absolute beast. 0-60 in 4.0 seconds, with brakes to match. The owner had some sort of parking lot run-in over the weekend, so I did some claying and spot-polishing to remove the damage. This one will be back soon for a full detail and I'm anxious to work on Mercedes black.

nice work :clap::goodjob

i just finished cleaning my car yesterday in and out and it is raining today like no other .:nervous2::cry::bawling::furious:

Very nice! I just bought myself a D60 a little over a month ago. Great choice! The pictures look great!
