No tire shine, Dylan?

People keep saying that, but Chase, much like myself, doesn't like sloppy wet looking tires... I just used some watered down Adams VRT to get them a nice black look. In this pic the tires are clearly dressed:

Looks awesome! :waxing:

Smoked an STi? hmmm he/she must not have been trying all that hard.

Oh no... he was on it... both were from a roll b/c we couldn't get him to stop, first time from 35 - 80 and the second time from about 50 - 90 mph... neither time was all that close.

If it would have been from a stop, you probably would've been playing catch-up. Out of the hole they are brutal, but then they fade out at higher speed. I raced one in my lightning and he put about 3 cars on me from the light.....as soon as I stopped spinning, I made up some ground though.

Oh definitely... hard to beat a car like that off the line, the power to weight ratio combined with the traction of AWD :soscared: You'd have to be running a really sticky street tire or drag slick in order to stand a chance of keeping up for the first half, but up top it'd just be a run down. No replacement for displacement IMO.

AWD was what made my Silverado SS so fun to race... the hook up on launch was awesome... but now with the 2wd TBSS I get to enjoy the fun of burnouts again :D

Understandable, I imagine people are questioning for the sole reason that some customers previously use tire shine, and we're used to seeing that. I know when I'm done with the initial wash, the remenance of the old tire shine still differentiates from the portion of the tire that wasn't dressed, sorta like what is in the picture :spot . Anyway, it looks great bud, the 'double foaming' was a good idea. I'm toying to see how much ONR can handle.
