'01 Corvette Convertible topped with Natty's

...Dreaming on an E92....
My neighbor picked this car up about two months ago. It's an 01 with about 25,000 on the clock. The only mods I know of are a Volant CAI, Borla Exhaust, and a performance chip. Only bad thing is that it's an auto :(
The car was in pretty good shape, it had some swirls from his poor washing techniques (which I enlightened him on earlier), minor fallout on the deck lid and hood but nothing too serious. And let's not forget that famous GM factory orange peel...
He had me do a one step polish "to test my polishing abilities", but I think it could have used a two step. The one upside was that he washed the car this morning so that saved me some time.

Wipe down with P&S Paint Gloss
P&S Clay on deck lid/hood
Presta Swirl Remover via Edge blue waffle pad at 1400 RPM's (X2 on hood)
Natty's Blue by hand
Longevity Sealant on wheels
P&S Shine-All for wells, Wipe N Shine on tires
Paint Gloss for final wipe

Yea yea the black trim on the deck lid isn't too great. I tried every product I had, but NOTHING would hold...

Overall I was pretty happy with the finished product, it could have used more work but that will come later this summer he says. I've got two more cars coming my way from him, his wifes dark blue 325i and a black '66 Mustang with a 390

Audiboy said it first but I concur. Nice depth!!

Is that black or blue? Or is it blue black? Either way it is a nice shine.:)

Thanks, guys. And the car is black, Patrick :)

I really dig the Presta Swirl Remover. I've always had great luck using it and it leaves an awesome gloss to start waxing with. This was the first dark colored car I've done with Natty's, so I'm definately impressed with the results it gives.

OK so somehow my account got messed up and I lost my photos :wall
And for some reason my computer isn't showing the EDIT button in my post, so here's the pics re-hosted...

How about PB's Trim Restorer? That's some awesome stuff. :)

Beautiful car. Gotta love black when it's done right! :D
