Porsche contacted me to detail this King of Porsche's

I could not take the car outside to perform a proper detailing, as it really needed to be machine polished, but I rubbed it out by hand with IP, FP, AIO and sealed it with Optimum.

Optimum dressing on tires, Vanilla Moose on door jambs and carbon fiber.

The pictures, sadly, are only indoor pics

Now this is a cool shot....not much of a rear window, more like a porthole:D

19 inch wheels upfront, 20's in the rear. This is a picture of the rear. This car was ordered for a Spurs player but it is too narrow for him....man that's gotta BITE

Anthony, great work as always. I'm almost afraid to ask but what were they asking for the car?

How kewl is that for Porsche to contact YOU...to detail their cars. !!!

Congrats man thats impressive.....:bow

Car is beautiful....

Great work :up

The centre cap on the wheel is offset, is it meant to be like that and how did you clean the metal grills (behind the seats)

Thanks. The wheels are really cool because they are threaded in the direction the wheel turns. So the right side or driver side is identified by red caps while the passenger side is identified by blue caps.

The blue can only be fitted on the passenger side and same for the red caps, they can only be threaded on the driver side.

There is this special tool I am told that had to be made especially for this wheel cap. As for it being offset, not sure about that.

The metal grills got wiped down with a QD and then went over with some VM. You need to be careful here so that not too much VM is applied and it runs.

I have a few engine pics I'll post up later.

Thanks everyone for the compliments.

Pats300ZX - What is really cool is being one of the few detailers in the USA to have detailed one of these fine supercars. That is the privilege......now if they would only let me wetsand it and buff it out:D

Anthony, I've been learning from your posts for many months now. Your work is awesome, as is your humility. You deserve the privilege of both getting the call and working on what is one of the rarest of supercars. Great job!

I think I remember reading in C&D that it takes like 500lbs of pressure to remove the single lugnut!

It kind of reminds me of a modern day batmobile :up

Awesome! This is my current favorite production car in existence.

The sixth pic down really looks like the Batmobile!

Maybe it was just me, but the rear wing looks to be almost angled in the wrong direction, as if it would provide 'upforce'.

Other than that, this car gets sexier and sexier everytime I see one.

I know it may not be a real consellation for not having seen a GT in person, but I did see a silver Lotus Elise the other day upclose at a house down the road.

where is the 'drool' smiley when you need it? :D

that shot of the rear window looks like the batmobile, but this supercar is way cooler than that! :xyxthumbs man, you must've had fun polishing this sexy machine. just curious, how bad was it that it would need a machine polish? the usual swirls?

Too  Porsche contacting you is way better than Nissan having me prep a "97 240SX and Maxima for the Dallas area dealer rollout.

Even after dealing with several exotics, it is still a rush to work on stuff like that. I'm sure you feel the same way, Anthony.

Damn! A Carrera GT! :bow
