I got the Ultimate Paste Wax instead :D

I went to Wally World and they were out of ULW  and I was about to :surrender when I found the LAST can of UPW :rockon I was also able to pick up new bottles of UQD and UQW

Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate today and I didn't get to try it out, but the weather has to be nice a few more times before the **** starts to fall.

Yea buddy. Its comming. Turned on the heat today. Sucks giving the hobby up for 5 months or so. Curious to see how the DP paint coat does over the winter.

I did my wifes Escape last year just before winter with detailers paint coat and Michigan had the worst winter in history in terms of snowfall this past winter. Her car was outside 24/7 for all of it including the "polar vortex" we experienced a couple times that had a daytime high of 0 and even -1. The wife turned on our heat yesterday too. Of course TODAY I'm at work and the weather is picture perfect (for this time of year) to do some detailing

Always works that way. I work a 3pm till ?. Nice during the week, then turns to crap over the weekend. You miss so much summer on that shift!

ShaneB, That is what i like to see. PA also had one of the worse winters last year to date. So far it has been a great coating.

See here in nice Florida the good detailing weather just started to roll in!!! But you will like the UPW. I prefer that over the ULW.

From what the Megs folks told me Ultimate Liquid Wax and Ultimate Paste Wax are the exact same product except...

Ultimate Paste Wax has an added ingredient to make it a paste.
This additional ingredient added to the paste can/will stain trim.

So don't wax your trim!

Besides that the are the same...
I prefer the liquid...it's easier.

But if you prefer the Mr. Miyagi Wax On/Wax Off, then the paste is perfect for you.

The Megs folks say that UW the longest lasting "wax" (it's really a sealant) they make.

I would have preferred the liquid, but I took what was available at the time. Besides, I don't see me doing the "Wax on, Wax off" technique :D

Remember that both the Megs Ultimate liquid and paste wax are both sealants and need to cure 12-24 hours between coats.

With the weather being how it's been (and the honey-do list being as big as it's been), Ill be happy to get one coat on the car this weekend.
