One of my customers took it upon himself to buy this and wants me to use it on his black car.

I hate it when customers ask this of me!:wall:wall

Is it easy on and easy off?

Oh boy!:D

I think I may have to have a talk with my customer LOL!!

I think a one step or aio would be easier and better results. the tw will probably look good until the black pigment glaze wears off.

I can still see swirls galore in the close-up shots. Maybe if you did a 'demo spot' with the TW, you can show the customer just how worthless it is.

If a customer is paying and wants me to spread cream cheese on their car, I'll do it with a smile on my face :)

If you set the Client's expectations ( it is going to not remove paint defects, it is going to partially fill the defects, it is going to come off and you will see the defects again soon),
and the Client is ok with that, guess you will have to use this product.. :(

Some people really do believe that this is the way a car is Detailed...

Good luck !

I have used it it's not terrible but is a bit tough removing it. Also it is nothing but filler 2-3 washes later looks just the same as if you had just waxed it with an other avg wax (slight beading left and some shine). It is a waste of their money but thats up to you if you want to try and educate them.

Im really not physically up to do any polishing and told my customer that . He said he could do the polishing so looks like Im going to have help.

I dont know how this is going to work out.I dont think he has any idea the work it will take ....

He has bad shoulders too .

I dont know what to do but wish us luck! LOL

We both may end up crippled after using Black box!

I tried this stuff once. It was right before I REALLY started getting into detailing and reading the forums. I remember applying it twice and both times being exhausted afterwards. This stuff is such a PITA that I would never put that evil on anyone. I rather just break out the polisher and be done in half the time with better looking paint.

DC !

I hope you dont have to do this at all..

If you end up having to, see if you can make it the thinnest layer so that there will be less to remove, and use a machine to apply it..

If you can also use a machine to remove, that would be better too..

Its a dang filler so be careful you dont remove it all..

I hate that stuff..

Please be careful and dont hurt yourself, ok ?

If there is no way around using the TW, at least use a bonnet on a da to remove it.

I would try to upsell with PB BH and LSP. My $0.02

Thanks everyone for advice.

I had a customer years ago who wanted me to use Turtle wax made Zymol on her black vet and remember how hard that stuff was to get off and this is sounding familiar!~It took 3 hours just to do the wax.

Im afraid to use the black box now.I may have to tell him no.

Its all I can do to spread a easy on off wax let alone something thats going take lots muscle and 3 times the amount of time.

I hate to dissappoint my customer!:(

I had a buddy that wanted me to do the same. I told him no and he tried to sweeten the deal by saying I could keep the black box kit afterwards lol. He thought it was the best thing out there.
