Personally, I love seeing Kawasaki do something different. Everyone seems to be making their bikes look milder and milder. I'll hold my real judgement until I see it in person and find out the price, but curious to see what everyone else thinks.

Wow 300hp! I had a Yamaha r6 with about 100hp and it was a lot more power than I ever needed on public roads. I know your typical 1000cc bikes are pushing 200hp and are stupid fast... 300hp??? No thanks! But I know people are out there crazy enough for it.

As for the styling I love it!

I wouldn't have guessed that they would have decided to put that much horsepower to the ground using a non-wishbone rear suspension. Pretty amazing and yes it looks like a transformer from the front.

Where are the headlights?

This race version (H2R) doesn't have headlights. Just like a track bike doesn't have headlights. So it's unclear if they're going to sell the H2R as a non street legal bike, and how the H2 will differ. Details are still sketchy.

If you read the article on the link in the first post you will see that it says it will not be street legal and come with slicks. So yeah also no headlights. The H2 will probably be a toned down version with street tires and be street legal while the H2R will be track only
