$15.00 minimum wage - thoughts?

I think its the worst idea ever, designed to pander to those who don't realize the sheer crazy results of it. That said, most of those are the same who will blow the money and put it right back into the economy, allowing the rich to capture it.

It will only further the divide between the rich (will get richer) and the poor....

One can debate if an increase is warranted, but lower paid people will more likely to spend it actually putting money back into the economy - that tend to help create jobs and not just putting it in the pockets of the "rich". They could get a second job - the same economic forces in process. The lower paid are not likely to put it into a 401k.

The message would be that anyone at any pay level should not be paid more because it will get increase the divide.
