Numbers are in. Got the GTO on the Dyno

Well after some setbacks with scheduling and a issue with the car I got it tuned and on the dyno yesterday. The dyno had a calibration issue a little while back so he said it's been 5% low consistently. The car made 411Rwhp. Add in the 5% and thats right where we were expecting it to make (430). All in all real happy with the way it drives now! Here is a quick video from the dyno.

Nice! To be honest I dont think I would bring any of my cars to get tuned from a shop that doesnt have their dyno set up correctly. Overall nice numbers and I am sure she pulls hard. I am expecting 470+ With a smaller pulley and tune. Cant wait lol

Thank you. It really has nothing to do with the tuning software for tuning the car. It is with the calibration on the actual dyno. He had a software crash and lost the calibration files from what he told me. To be honest I could bring the car to 3 different dynos and get 3 different HP readings. Just how they work. To really get a good estimate of power you need to take it to the track and get the trap speed. I already know the car went 110 in good air. If it goes say 113-114 I know it is making good power now.

470+ will get that thing moving right along! LOL
 
Nice! Car looks and sounds good too. I am hoping to put down 650 rwhp with my 13 Shelby, if I ever get around to the dyno.

Interested to know what beyond OE have you done to your Shelby. Obviously you're going to lose more than 12 HP getting it to the ground from the advertised 662 Flywheel HP advertised on these Stangs. I love Shelby's! :D

The new gt500s are underated. Some stock put down 600ish and trap 125-127. With exhaust, pulley and tune some are hitting 700 to the tires! Impressive stuff!

Custom tune, JLT intake, Air Raid filter, 170 Tstat. The 5.8 TVS responds very well to a tune. Car pulls like a freight train.

My 10 GT500 with a pulley, tune, CAI and 170 Tstat made 540 rwhp on the Dyno.
