I saw that placard in an earlier post but had forgotten. I saw a show on TV the other day that had me thinking of you and your car. They were putting a ProCharger on a new Vette. It looked to be an ultra simple kit.

They claimed an additional 160 HP running only 6 lbs. boost on stock internals. It of course had a tune. I was very impressed at the simplicity of the install and how at home that particular huffer looked under the Vette's hood. You almost had to be looking for it to notice it was sitting there.

I've put a number of blowers on a variety of cars. In the end most were fairly complicated installs, this one certainly did not appear to follow that pattern. The intercooler could be mounted either vertically or horizontally and the modifications looked like they could be reversed at a minimal cost. I like being able to put things back the way the were, you know, just in case.

it was " The Girls Garage " GH?

It's film in Tampa Fl.

Yes it was. Then a couple of days later I saw a YouTube on the same product. I thought EngineLabs had it. I looked but can't find where I saw it. That's where the HP numbers were mentioned. They also showed the intercooler being mounted vertically which was supposed to be the way to mount it for maximum efficiency and a bit more HP.

Can't think of anyone better than Ron to do a review on this ProCharger product. This would be only a drop in the bucket to his weekly fun budget and he's got the biggest half of this project sitting in his garage. :)

Anyone else like to see him do this?

Or perhaps:

I'm kiddin' of course on the money thing Ron. I'm thinking Dan could pay for the kit. ;)
