Quickie Review: DP Headlight Restoration Kit

These are my 3rd set of headlights I've done since receiving this kit. Absolutely a huge fan of it. Will be reordering the polish again in the near future. I'm using this with my house drill. If you're on the fence on getting it just do it already. Here is a 50/50 shot. Owner was very pleased.

No sanding involved with this kit. All I did to these lights before using the kit was waterless wash the lights and clay them.

My wife's headlights have been looking dull as of late so I finally decided to bring them back to life. Took about 15 minutes to do both lights. Love this kit!

Great looking after pics!

The aio polish doesn't seem to include a sealant and I didn't see one in the kit.

Am I missing something?

There are two headlight kits from DP. The Detailer’s Headlight Restoration Kit and the Detailer’s Total Headlight Restoration Kit. The second kit includes the sealant. Or you can purchase it separately: Detailer’s Headlight Protectant Spray.

How does DP's All In One Headlight Restoring Polish compare to Meg's PlastX for restoring headlights? I own the later and know it's limits/ when sanding is required. Has anyone done a side by side comparison? If not, I'd be happy to do one pitting Meg's 1 - Step Headlight Restoration Plus kit vs Detailer’s Headlight Restoration Kit. Jesse - are there any sample DP kits available? The headlight on my dad's car are about due to a polish.

I to would like to see a comparison with PlasticX along with a comparison of a compound such as M105. I have been using Ultimate Compound on the ones that I have corrected. It works very well as long as the headlights are not extremely neglected. I guess I would like to know what makes this polish so much more effective than a traditional paint polish. I have so many polishes and compounds on hand already- Is this enough of a game changer that I need to purchase it ?
