BLACKFIRE Interior Protectant- 4 different looks to suit your needs.

Hi Todd I just bought this last week, but it's pretty hard to spray out of the bottle. Can this be diluted, I have some empty 4 oz spray bottles and was going to mix 1:1 ratio or even 2 parts BF and 1 part water to make it easier to work with.

You 'could' dilute it but I have never had a problem with it spraying at all. I will go check in a little and report back.

Todd, does the wet buff scenario create any issues with the UV protection? Just wondering what the life span of the UV protection is for the 4 scenarios. Maybe there is no way to tell without long-term testing, but thought I would ask.

No, there is no "change" in UV protection regardless of the method of application. As an intresting note, there is no real chance in durability either. They all hung around for the better part of 2 months.

Thanks for the great info! I have a bottle of this sitting around waiting for my 303 Aerospace to run out. But I think I'll give it a test run this weekend on a Benz detail I have scheduled.

As a follow-up to your comment, what is a good way to tell the protectant is no longer "hanging around"?

great thread. i guess ive only been using the one coat method. i like the lighter look of the dry and wet buffed as well. you just made my remaining bfip bottle become a fun experiment

i put some of this on the interior when i purchased my work truck some 4 months ago and you can still see a shine. i didn't put on two coats but i did put on one pretty strong coat and just wiped it in with a dry mf towel

i have been very impressed with this product
