Re: How often do you wash your car?

vette needs to be washed, let the UK cure
Tahoe hasn't been washed since it was coated, so I gotta do it.

normally about once a week or so

What's up with the title change on everyone's post but the OP? Anyways for polishing about once or twice a year. Waxing quarterly. But I just coated one of my cars so that should change things for a while.

I wasn't finished editing before they responded. The last choice on the poll should be: Never. I buy a new car when it needs waxing

What's with all the coatings? You are going to lose your title of Wax Waster

About twice a month in good weather

In winter months, I go to a coin wash and do a pressure rinse down every week

Before applying coatings, I would have said between once a week and once a month. Now, after applying coatings, I will re-polish/apply annually. I have done it more often last year, when I was experimenting with different coatings (trying to find my favorite), but now that it is applied (I applied a new layer of EXOv2 every 4-6 months), I really don't see myself polishing until that year is extinguished (this summer).

Used CquartzUK after wet sanding, so not sure I'll ever polish again, garage kept in fla so no harsh weather, but a drying sealant or a spray/WOWA every now and then. Use several as I I like playing with them:
Prima Hydro
BF CS
Dodo trop red mist
Wolfgang spritz
DG Aquawax

Duragloss rinseless wash every week.

Way too often, according to my family and neighbors. Of course, none of them would say it to my face, since I help 'em all out with equipment, supplies and skilled instruction.

I have been washing and waxing every weekend. I guess technically it's not a true wax since it's a synthetic polish(they call it a wax, it's ice paste wax). But the results are decent and it's easy. The pollen combined with the small rain storms really dirties it up quick.
