Jet black BMW paint

Hi!
I did a 12hr detail this past weekend. Was my very first attempt. I used:
Griots DA 6" polisher
Clay entire car (yellow)
105-Orange pad
205- Green pad
Black Hole
Autoglym wax

I am happy with the results, however hood and trunk are still a problem. This car hadn't been well taken care of prior to me owning it. So that is unfortunate.

There are some white spots on the hood (chips) and 2 bigger chips previous owner used sparkling black metallic on. NOT Jet black... What to do about these? I was thinking to try the Dr.Color chip?

2. These white spots on the hood seem to be in the paint. How can I get rid of these?

3. These white specs are in the paint it seems. On the trunk. Any ideas how to get rid of these?

Again, first attempt :). I am very happy over all of the results.

Congrats on a great job !

BMW Jet Black is one of my specialties and I have owned more cars in Jet Black and other shades of Black than the law allows... :)

Yes, Dr.Color Chip will work just fine on this vehicle.. Follow the instructions perfectly..
Dont do it out in the sunlight.. The black paint will get too hot in the sun when applying this product..

Regarding # 3 - what truck ? Is this a different vehicle? If so, or if not, I would make sure these are not paint chips first. If not, take a Q-tip and some product to see if you can just start to remove one of these things.. Might be something like road stripe paint, etc.. Did you try to polish it off ?? What did you use???

Thanks! Of course it rained like crazy today and had to do some driving. So car dirty again...But at least it will clean up nice.

#1: Perfect thanks.
#3: I meant trunk. Yes I tried 105 orange pad. Also 3" DA with MF pad. Still there. Few of them on the trunk lid.

Some road paint is tougher than polish and pads

Possible to try the new water spot remover? Beats getting more aggressive
