DETAILED TODAY?

After a long nasty winter, first cut was yesterday morning. Of course it will grow like mad now. It was really weird smelling fresh cut grass after a winter like that. With gas prices nearing $4/gal hate to say, it will be cut once a week, if that. I still use a craftsman walk behind front wheel drive. (no riding mower here  After the rain yesterday, i noticed the xterra really got dirty just sitting. Must have been a lot of dirt/pollen in that rain!

Wow, didn't realize how far behind the North got; I've been mowing mine for over a month. Nice yard!

My yard is on the smaller side, but I inherited my Gpas 5 year old Snapper rider. Never did he change the oil, spark plug, air filter, or sharpen the blade. Had to put some HD Rotella T5 in it to try and clear out the crud from the spent old oil. The blade was so dull even after a sharpening it's still not right, gotta get a new one.

Its just strange for me to see a house with no fenced in yard.

In CA every house has a fenced in yard, even out in the country areas.

I cut my front on friday. With all the rain the other day, my back was still a swamp. Cut my church's grass & did a little landscaping & clean up on saturday. Still sore.
PA, lawn looks good by the way

Indeed. I also found myself sore after. getting old!

This weekend was the first grass cut at my house here in NY

PS - It's still freaking cold here

Put the weed pre-emergent and fertilizer down the first part of March. Have cut about 5 times and put the Weed and Feed down last week. It's snowed a coupe of times since I started but nothing lasted more than a day or two.
