After installing new carpet in my Piper Warrior one of the brake cylinders sprang a leak and left hydraulic brake fluid all over it. The hydraulic fluid in an airplane is more like automatic transmission fluid than the fluid used for automotive brakes. I had some success cleaning it with McGuire's carpet cleaner but there are still some stains and it smells like hydraulic fluid. Any suggestions for cleaning this mess?
