I ran into a familiar friend this weekend, I detailed her 2014 Subaru Forester 99 days ago and applied Pinnacle's Black Label Diamond Surface Coating. The original detail can be viewed here: 2014 Subaru Forester Detail (multiple Rayviews) - Auto Geek Online Auto Detailing Forum
I follwed up with a 55 day update here: http://www.autopiaforums.com/forums...ck-label-diamond-surface-coating-w-video.html
When I inspected her car, I noticed water spots all over the drivers side of the vehicle. I asked her to bring it by because it would give me the perfect opportunity to review CarPro's new water spot remover "Spotless".

On the CarPro Spotless Autopia product page, it specifically states this non abrasive water spot remover is designed to work on paint coatings.
Besides the water spots, the Subaru looked to be in great condition.
The metallic paint did a great job of hiding the water spots, but they were present.
I started by wiping the area with Detailer's Pro Series Waterless Auto Wash to remove any loose dirt and pollen.
Then I used CarPro Spotless. Spotless has a very subtle lemon scent which makes the product basically odorless.
Spotless did a great job of clinging to the surface and wasn't runny like I expected. As I buffed away Spotless, the area felt much slicker. After buffing Spotless off, I rinsed the area with Distilled Water.
I was impressed with the results.
I finished by applying Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Coating Booster.
The water spots were chemically removed and the metallic finish on this Subaru was restored. :rockon
For only $9.99 for a 500 ml spray bottle, this product should be a no-brainer for anyone with a coating applied to their vehicle. The super slick formula gave me a lot of confidence that I would NOT be putting any light scratches into the coating or paint while removing the water spots.
Thanks for reading!
