Product Review: SONUS Trim & Motor Kote

Although I love CD2 engine detailer I have switched to SONUS T&MK due to the continuing issue with finding CD2 and it being "discontinued". SONUS T&MK works just as well once you get the hang of it. And it lasts.

i love megs hyper dressing 4:1 for engines! SOWA/DONE! but after reading this post, the sonus looked to be really different. and i like to try new things....

I really do like this stuff! I bought some after Todd's review and fell in love with it. I previously used Adam's In and Out, which was fairly good, but I like this stuff much better. It is easy to control and doesnt leave a greasy, "used car dealership" feel or look. Just give it time to set; it doesn't have a finished look immediately after application.

Exactly. Spray, walk away and LET IT SIT. I'm glad to here how happy you are with it! :rockon

anyone try this on the wheel wells yet? just curious.

Sonus Trim & Motor Kote is an ideal solution for large areas of plastic cladding, including truck bed liners, rocker panels, wheel well liners, and black plastic valances.

I have used it on rocker panels. Durability was good, 2-3 weeks, if not a little longer. The look was phenomenal.

A little early for a engine detail, but broke out the SONUS TRIM & MOTOR KOTE this morning. Cleaned with DP ENGINE DEGREASER. Then i let the enging dry. Then sprayed on the sonus. Let dry, then repeated. Interesting product. I liked it. I did not take any pics yet, as it was curing.

It would be interesting to see how this would be for wheel wells!

My experience is it looked great but didn't have the durability that it has on engines.

Decided to "retry" this product. Just ordered a new bottle. Will see how it performs compared to the old bottle that I had.

I agree. They need gallons for sure. I hate ordering a case at a time.

I actually contacted Premium Finish Care about gallons and this is what they said:

Maybe if more people request it, we can make it happen.
