Sinkhole Swallows Eight Rare Vettes at Corvette Museum

Todd, they may need your detailing skills when they get them back!

How crazy is this? You can see because of the security tape the Corvettes being swallowed up by the sinkhole. It comes out of nowhere! For those of you who are Vette fans, I would imagine this is torture... :yikes:

Thankfully no human was hurt... Can't say no "one" because as we know, cars are people too... Here's a GIF of it...

Heard about this... I hope they all make it out of the hospital ok, I know some of us doctors maybe called in to help :D
 
Real hit to that museum. A couple of those cars were on loan from GM. Oddly enough, as of last night they were saying that the building's (the dome) exterior foundation walls were stable. Probably some Mopar guys behind it. ;)

Does the museum own any of these cars or are they all on loan from GM and private collectors ? I bet somewhere there is a insurance agent pulling his hair out. :-(
 
Just heard that someone is craning the vetts out of the sink hole. they got 3 out so far. GM is going to restore them back at the plant in Mich.
