I have always used Mothers Chrome Polish on all chrome for general care for high quality chrome.

I recently tried Chemical Guys Metal Wax Ultra Fine Metal Polish & Protection and thought it did a good job. Also agree with the 0000 steel wool.

I will clean chrome wheels with chrome polish once or twice a year but maintain them with a spray wax or detail spray. This seems to keep them clean and nice looking,
Would brass be a better choice? No rust.

I just clean it good and then coat it with a sealant.
There's a product I use that's good up to 650 degrees.

I like to use Flitz to polish and then seal it with the polymer based wax I use on boats, good long lasting protection and shine!

My input is likely not helpful, as I have not polished chrome for a looong time, on car, or Moto.
I use Flitz on metals, in jewelry crafting. Superb cleaner + anti-tarnish on some metals, especially copper, which lives to oxidize. None of my "final products" are subjected to extreme heat though, so this may be apples and oranges, for your use. Flitz is a great product.

I agree. These products are the best for chrome. I tried Meg's equivalent it it was nowhere near as good as the P21S combo.

Wenol (Germany) makes 2 flavors of metal polishes that work great..
Optimum also makes a great liquid polish that rocks and seals for a long time, on Chrome tips, etc., on vehicles in the Shop... Im liking Optimum more and more all the time...
