Credit Card Company Halted Car Wax Purchase

I just took a loan out to get the 30K Zymol wax. I need it to buff my Kia Soul so it looks extra sweet.

I've got some of that old stuff kicking around. I'll send it your way once they hand deliver my new gold infused wax. You'll need to pick up the shipping. :D

Add this to your list of 10k Gold Waxes:

I had no idea that was in their product line up. I thought they made products for the common man, not just guys like Ron. ;)

Todd, what's the discount on this product for AF members? Any chance there are samples available? After all the Detailers on this site don't need the provided installation.

The Gold Wax by CGs is new and debuted at SEMA. I'm waiting for a CG's Wacky Wednesday deal to pick it up. Should be able to get it for $8,999 with free shipping.

Some short opinion for the Mitchell and King stuff I think would be nice to share with fellow forum members:
Dont get me wrong - I do not sell their products. I just use them and like them. If this is against forum rules let me know and I will take them down.

Their Spa shampoo is extremely concentrated at 1:2000. You only need a few ml (yeah British people use ml) for the whole bucket. One liter (32oz) Spa will last over 100 bubble washes! Luxury fragrance and very slick wash. Better than Zymol wash.

Suds up good and last the whole wash!

I got a few pot of their waxes. They are all buttery and easy to spread.
Some waxes come in glass jar, while some come in metal can. You can add money for marble or crystal containers.

Their Spa is gloss enhancing and leave behind anti-static agents.

Their Aura smell like a brand new Mercedes Benz!

No, discussing products is what this forum is all about. We appreciate your feedback. I have no reason to believe these products aren't top notch. This thread wasn't started as a bash but more of a funny about waxes most (with the exception of Ron) couldn't afford. Maybe my sense of humor isn't what it used to be.

Nope, I just told myself a joke, I'm still funny. ;)

I have been using Mitchell and King products.
I am their Approved Detailer.
Their products are excellent.

Do they carry 2 different shampoos? First pic shows a brown glass and the second a clear glass. Just wondering.

Hi,

I checked their web site and find out they actually carry 6 different shampoos:
1. SPAv1 - Car Shampoo, available in 250ml, 500ml, 1000ml, 5000ml
2. SPAv2 - Car Wash Soap, come in 2x100ml bespoke fragrance.
3. SPA - Car Shampoo for Matte Paint, 250ml or 500ml.
4. Snow - Pre Wash Foam, available in 250ml, 500ml, 1000ml, 5000ml
5. Soothe - Bespoke Car Shampoo, Engraving on Brass Plaque and bespoke fragrance, 1000ml.
6. SPA_GRv - goldRush Rally Bespoke Car Shampoo, Displayed in a 24 Carat enclosure decorated with Swarovski crystals and limited to 5 per year

The 2 you saw are both SPAv1. v1 and v2 does not mean one is newer than another. It simply means bespoke fragrance.
Brown plastic bottle is 1000ml size, while the clear one is 250ml. I guess the bottle is brown to extend the shelf life of natural oils inside.

And I thought CG was confusing with all their soaps. :D

PPLd,
What do you like about Mitchell and King products besides the concentration. What other products of Mitchell and King do you use and like?

Helly hamlyn,

Concentration and hence cost effectiveness is definitely a big advantage for Mitchell and King products. Another reason I like their products is "uniqueness" (is there such word?). Their products are elegantly packed everytime I take my working Aluminum Detailing Flight Case out, my customers are just SOLD.

In addition to Spa, their Lamborghini paste waxes, Aura that I mentioned on Page 2, I have also tried their:

Seal paint sealant - Spray on wipe off for high gloss and great slickness. last up to 8 months on most customer cars and over 12 months on some well maintained cars.

Exile iron remover - dilute 1:1-4, turn purple on iron. That is 1 part product with up to 4 parts water.

Rim wheel cleaner - pH neutral iron removing wheel cleaner 1:1-4. it is paint safe so I even spray it on paint without negative effects. a pool of purplish brown will be formed as you spray it on wheels.

Call me a @#$% but I never trust what the company says. I test it myself. I dropped a drop of M&K Rim concentrate on the pH paper, and it says aroudn 6.5-7. When I cut it 1:1, it is at the perfect 7:

Nourish leather conditioner - spray on yellow foam wax applicator and apply it on leather. makes even coated leather on a new BMW F30 feel softer.

Cleanse leather cleaner - mild leather cleaner.

Tyre - water based tire dressing. wont last too long if it rain but do look very nice - restore rubber tires, hoses and trim pieces to brand new look. can be diluted to suit personal/customer taste.

PPLd,

Great information, thank you. I had looked them up previously, but information on their product on the web is scarce.
I may be in London for the Christmas holidays, so I may pick up a few of their products. It appears that they provide free international shipping for orders exceeding $400. Do you know if they have an outlet in the US?

Thanks for the valuable information.
