Hey guys I just wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking around the site for a while and I'm amazed at the awesome people and information. I have a 2013 black 5.0 with black forgestar rims and black leather interior. I never had a black car or leather interior so I definitely need help on how to keep her clean. Right now it has 2 coats of cquartz on the paint and opticoat on the rims and that has made things easier for sure. Anyway, I look forward to learning from all of you.

Thanks
Karl

Welcome to the forum. Automatic or manual transmission on your GT?

Been considering a GT with an auto. Not that I would make this recommendation to anyone under normal circumstances. Any real Pony Car should have a manual transmission. That said, over the past few years I've acquired a couple of limitations that would prohibit me from banging gears like a real man. Or at least I wouldn't enjoy driving it day in and day out. I'd be interested in comments from those who have one of these with an auto. I'd really like to get a Coyote and play around with one of Roush's Huffers on it. In fact Edelbrock's product looks pretty interesting as well but comes up a little short on HP and Torque when comparing apples to apples with Roush's hardware and the Roush is a few hundred cheaper both carry the same warranty. Sorry if I've taken your thread off course.

oh man no problem. I'm a member at SVTPerformance and the auto guys seem to like it just fine. The coyote is a excellent powerplant, some bolt on's and a good tune you'll be in the 500hp zone and still have the everyday drivability.

welcome to AF Karl. you have definitely gotten off to a great start with your choice of finishes for your ride. looking forward to your pics.:welcome:
