Hey all! This is my first time posting. A friend and I detailed the exterior of my car last week. I wish i had a before pic, but before yesterday, I didn't even know this forum existed!

Ran it through the car wash, then clayed it with Megs Smooth Surface Clay Kit, then sprayed the whole car down with laquer thinner and wiped to remove all grime the clay wouldn't take off. Next was a polish with 3M #2 Perfect It Machine Polish with a DeWalt Rotary polisher. Finished it up with Megs Flagship Marine Wax with the DeWalt Rotary.

thanks! been doing a lot of reading on the forum about other products. i'm excited to do things differently on my next detail (probably after the winter).
 
i had to have it washed and clayed before i got to my friend's garage (we detailed it late night so we didn't have time to wash it there. i can't wash it in my apartment complex). otherwise, i'll be doing a hand wash myself.
