Is this your new baby Ron?
If you want a longer term protection without needing to wax it often I would suggest CQ original or CQUK. The CQUK is to be glossier, I have it here waiting to go on the VW that I have CQ original on that is a 2yr old application. Then topping it with ReLoad or Hydo2 is quick and simple.
But if you want to wax it on a regular I would say 4*UPP as a sealant then wax. 4*UPP is one of the closest Nuba looking sealants I have ever used.
CQuarts or HyrdO2, depending on how long you want it to last.
bf wet ice over fire and call it a day.
Since you're the kind of guy who likes to sample different products, I'd suggest something easy to remove, and nothing semi permanent.
1st choice - BFWD topped with any LSP
2nd choice - Prima Epic topped with any LSP
Or, if you really want to be a contrarian
3d choice - Mother's Reflections Wax & Topcoat.
Half with Permanon and half with Hydro2. Then do a review for us all to follow, just saying![]()
EXP and Nattys Red
Po85Rd + Opti-coat + P0115C + Jetseal 109 = GOD
(Polish) + (Coating) + (Glaze) + (Sealant) = /
You will blind people...
At least that's my plan for my SR once my bumpers get sprayed.
EXO or CQuartz.
ya really want me to work........
I'm lazy
Ronny,
I was driving before so I did not have time to write an elaborate response. Still have the Vert BMW? Nice new ride, keep your gas card handy. Can I borrow the RIG, I need to take my kid to college EOM?
See if Todd has any EXO V1 left. Super easy application and removal and beads are equal if not better to anything I have ever seen. A medium rain would clean the car to your standards. Even bugs cant stick to it. It might not be quite a mar resistant as the V2 or Cquartz but the ease of application make up for it in my book 100%. Using a 2BM I never had marring either.
I have Cquartz and EXO V1 on hand and cannot decide what to dress the DD in. SO far I am buring through the permanon. I apply it every 4-6 weeks to keep it beading tightly.
I have no info in Wolf's as I have never used their exterior products. The leather protectant was applied to my new car when I got it since the seats are light. Tough to see if it works because I have not wet them but I guess I can.
Get the widshield coated with something before it nicks up. Saves alot of polishing. I just ordered the opti-Glass Coating and have used G-thech G1(very good), just looking for Best. Will let you know.
Good Luck and if it is a lease and you don't want to work to hard, keep pernanon the hell out of it for 24 months. It is a good product and as soon as I get EXO V1 results on a Permanon type application I am DONE with anything else. (Until Todd goes and does a video in the NEXT new thing). BTW I need to find a secondary market for 95% full detailing products or I need to rent a POD!
All the best Ronny. Enjoy your New Truckster.
Just coat it with CQUK...
Once the work is done you should be good to go and not need any more crazy prep and such. I use ReLoad like a spray sealant post wash and it usually only takes me 5 minutes or so to do a car. Hydro2 is a Mist on and spray off with a pressure washer. Durability is listed @ 3 months as a stand alone product, but i know Corey of CarPro-US is at 4 months now down there in Florida.
bmw is history, see explination in pm.
