Poilishing Stainless exhaust with DA..101

So in prep for a show tomorrow i decided to go further than just hitting my borlas with my Porter Cable and 4" CCS orange pad. I hit it a few times with 2000gr sand paper and blue magic(not the best i know)...i am so happy with the results i figure id pass it on.



exhaust stages

before

cleaned with steel wool

sanded with 2000gr

after...polishing with a DA and small pad was SOOOO fast...the BOOTY weld was on the car when i go it...getting it re done by my fabricator and best friend


ready for tomorrow!!!!
 
I did my borla mufflers, when I had them on my 05. I started with wet 400 grit and worked up to 2500. then polished it with a wool pad. It came out like a mirror!! That looks great though, especially for not having to pull the exhaust off.

ya i want to get it a little shinier but i like it under mirror finish cause of the booty weld i have
