Advice needed for a single step correction for a BMW

Hi friends ;)

i"d like to know from you guys what you would use for a quick one-step correction on a BMW, to be delivered tomorrow. the car's at my place now.

I've corrected the headlights on a BMW, was in a very bad state.

Now the owner wants a quick shine.


Actually, The ride is swirled, loads of orange peel and got a lot of scratches.

how do I proceed with what I have because will not be in a position to buy any detailing products so soon because we are in Mauritius.

What I have are:

  • Menzerna 203s and PO85rd
  • Meguiars M80
  • Optimum hyper compound & hyper polish
  • Collinite 476s
  • Poorboys Black Hole
  • Menzerna and DP sealants

I've got the Flex DA and the Makita rotary, and the LC pads.

what would you recommend to complete this work? A little :help: please

I too love menzerna, would like to try the FG 400,

please correct me if i'm wrong "Flex with Menz 203" will be all i need?


another little question, not used collinite 476s so far, what will be the effect on a silver car?

Hi Ziad,

Of the products you already have both the Menzerna PO203S and Optimum Hyper Polish are the best choices for a 1-Step approach.

Menzerna PO203S is what I'd a medium cut / medium gloss product. It does a great job at removing swirls and up to 2000 sanding grit defects.

My concern is the severity of the finish defects. Actually, The ride is swirled, loads of orange peel and got a lot of scratches.

This will require some testing to determine if Menzerna PO203S is the right choice. I would work the product using an Orange foam pad on speed 5. Keep your arm speed slow and work small sections evaluating your progress as you go.

Depending on your goal, PoorBoy's World Black Hole contains fine fillers and could be used after polishing to hide very minor defects. Once applied and buffed, top with Menzerna Power Lock sealant to protect.
