detailing weekend?

PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
looking to be a decent weekend in PA. 40-50 temps sat-sun. we got hit pretty good monday with the latest storm. took a personal day friday so i could have a 3-day weekend. :D

temps are still way below average. looks like it will be awhile yet till i set up shop in the garage. :(

looking to be a busy weekend. easter sunday and better halfs birthday sunday too! hope to get some detailing in.

This weekend is looking better - high around 60 both days so will be doing some detailing this weekend.

I want to try out some products (AF Lather, PB Wash mitt, maybe Sonus Finishing Polish, new paste sealant/wax.)

having been able to do some winter reclaimation work earlier on my BMW, I am hoping to get into some more serious work this weekend......engine, door jams, fenderwells, trunk, exhaust tips.....

Been garaged a few weeks now, so its good not to have to start from scratch.....

Supposed to be 70* this weekend with some pop-up thunderstorms. I think I'm going to get the Jetta all cleaned up and park it in the garage for the weekend to avoid the rain. I feel ashamed I haven't washed it in almost a month; its been rainy and work is a muddy parking lot. Thank goodness for rubber floor mats!

looks like saturday is going to be the pick. fri & sun they are calling for a mix. oh brother! really.

Ick, I think my Northern roots left me because you cannot get me out in 40* weather to wash

It was almost 70* when I got home, so I decided to do a quick wash (mainly to get the mud off) on the Jetta. I swear not 10 minutes after dryoff it was covered in pollen again. I give up, it's either mud or pollen around here :rofl

I have had a kerosene heater in Virginia that I rarely used and now with the generator I can bring it to Raleigh....so ready for next year.

A agree Al! :bigups

I have my trusty woodstove and added a small propane powered torpedo heater a few years ago. The torpedo heater really warms up the garage quickly and at some comfortable point I shut it off and the woodstove maintains...........even when the temps 20F outdoors...

Of course more insulation out there would go a long way....

fri and sat got to be ok. got some detailing in. have another long weekend comming up. this weekend i hope to get all my stuff moved and ready to to go and get the garage set up. looking good....

talking about stoves bobby, the better halfs father has two of the pellet stoves. i have seen them in action. and wow they throw the heat!

Saturday was decent. Got to mow the yard and then wash the car. I finished it up yesterday in the garage (raining most of the day).

Mid 50's here for the weekend. I might actually get another bucket wash in !!!! Too early to start cutting the grass even though I might put down some fertilizer. Snow blower is getting put away :)
