getting hit with ice and snow today. check out the temps for the week! i know you cant change it, but this is really getting old. i can recall some years i already had my stuff out of storage, and set up ready to go at this time. it's really hanging on this year!

i did get to do a wash/detail on the xterra yesterday tho. even with salt spray, after washing it was nice to see the prima was doing it's job. while it was still wet i broke out the hydro and spritzed each panel and glass and proceeded to dry it off with the cobra ww guzzlers. first time i used the hydro this way. impressive! a great drying agent also. left a slick streak free gloss.

till i head out for work this afternoon. :rofl
 
Yes, it was high 70's on Saturday and now much cooler and wet. I hope Florida's weather is better.

Yuck! Sounds like a perfect excuse to come to south Florida for Detail Fest and enjoy some 70s and 80s!!!

Todd, if it wasn't going to cost me about $1200 I would...

  • I have air miles and I can't use them
  • I have Marriott reward points and I can't use them either.
If I could get a break somewhere I'd love to attend as I'm sure it's a great time and I'd have an opportunity to meet many members and local celebrities...

might hit 40 today. good enough for a wash later i hope. then..........yet another storm monday. lol. guess will have cold temps and snow in july?
 
Might hit 40, LOL. I haven't seen a 40 day since like last October or November. I checked our 10 day forecast here and it won't happen the next 10 days either. I am in need of doing a full blown detail on the car but that won't happen far at least a month at the rate our winter is going. I guess we had to pay the price this year for such a mild winter last year.

I think the groundhog lied. It's been colder than average and wet and nasty. Its made the roads here dirt soup; my Jetta looks like it's been down a dirt road. I should really post a picture :lol:
 
:( raining today and cold. Good thing about having a good wax or sealant the is just drive n the highway and you can clean most the dirt off your car..
 
It started raining when I was making dinner and heard these large ran drops. Turned out it was pea sized hail! So right now were under a severe thunderstorm warning, tornado watch, flash flood watch, and a wind advisory. This is going to be an interesting spring.
 
We had "ok" weather today. About 40 degrees, the sun was out, but it was SUPER windy. The wind killed it. We are still below our average temperature for this time of year.
