CG hex logic pad sampler for trade

I'm not exactly interested in the trade, but what machine did you use them with out of curiosity?

A Porter Cable DA would hardly be able to spin 7.5" pads, regardless of the brand. That may be why you were unhappy with them.

At first I used my megs da, then I used my flex3401 and also my mikita 9227. I was unhappy on how it absorbed so much product. Also with the cut and polishing abilities.

Yup, disregard my post. You clearly had enough tools to test the pads properly with lol ;)

Idk maybe it's just me, I hear allot of people who have been successful with them.

You can be successful with any pad but it really gets down to preference on feel, polishes, and types of paint you use. For example, some like flat pads (more surface) area to pads that have various pad face patterns (slashes, dimples, hexagons).

These work better with rotaries IMO. They stay very cool, overall life of them is pretty good however they don't like edges. They're a great pad for someone starting with a rotary. Also' they may absorb product but if you clean them regularly during polishing (Ie. Pad Washer) they aren't too bad.

Lol I trade you the sampler set for some of your items on your list ;)

Jw, what polish were you using? CG polishes don't cut for *t. They finish down amazing though.

Yeah that is true. My friend and I were trying to fix some RIDS on another friends car and we used m100 and megs mf pads and it got fixed it, but left a lot of haze and v38 on a white hex logic pad cleaned it up nicely. I didn't think that it would work, but it did.
