Very nice results. I would have loved to try these out at the NE help in the heartland. Thanks for sharing Todd and posting your product list.

I didn't see any mention of using on a D.A., Do you think it would have any effect at all on orange peel if used on one, maybe with a more aggressive polish? Do you know if they plan on coming out with an orange peel pad for the D.A,? The factory paint on my Corvette is loaded with it, I've used various Menzerna products, without much improvement, and being the novice that I am, I'm not about to go near it with wet sanding or a rotary, so am I out of luck, or is there hope for me, and others, down the road? Excellent review as always!
Great review Todd ,thank you, im very happy you like it and got very good results.
i would suggest uploading a video for how you exactly polished the surface
since this is the most important part.
still, these pads should be used for more skilled customers who have some experience with polishing. even though its still not that hard to use, almost same as any cutting pads polishing.
the 50/50 pics looks good to demo the OP removing!
thanks so much for sharing Todd.
I was looking for this article ever since Mike Philips wrote that u tried the Car Pro denim pads with Menz FG400... The results are fantastic.. thanks again
what about the really tight spaces ?
what about the really tight spaces ?
CarPro recommends using these pads with a rotary style polisher and I can see why. I would assume the planning ability (created by fast rotation) is necessary to level the paint.
I will play with these on a da when the opportunity allows and report back when I find. If you are novice I wouldn't recommend these.
Thanks Todd, I appreciate your response, and admire your ability. See you at detail fest!
Thanks for the review, Todd!
I've been watching these pads for quite a while now and have been waiting for a few more people I trust to try them before I give them a shot. My concerns from day one were panel temps and how they handle highly contoured panels.
You've already commented on the panel temps, which are a bit high, but how do you feel they handle highly curved panels?
Do you see yourself using these over sanding on a high end restoration?
Thanks,
Rasky
These pads work amazingly well for defect removal with out flattening out paint if you use them with a softer backing plate. I use them all the time in this fashion.
