Twinkies no more?

Maybe I should use my family inheritance to buy the company. I can make Twinkies and detail in the loading bays.

I saw one story where some senior execs wanted their $1.75 Million BONUS while in bankruptcy. It sounds like the US auto company scenario (management and labor) out for themselves.

The unions have ruined this company. It will never work untill new ownership is in place

Not so fast to point fingers Trouble.

Bankruptcy judge found out about the bonuses and denied them bankruptcy. Judge also ordered Hostess and union to work out a deal. Twinkies might come back.

Judge also "ordered" Hostess and union to work out a deal.

That scares me more then the goo they fill their cakes with :inspector:

IMO the executives deserve their golden parachutes for having to deal with all the crap the unions produce :swirly:

You might be thinking of the $780B bail out for the bankers. They were the ones giving all the head cheese bonuses and vacations.

I think you can point the finger at both the management and the union it isn't just one or the other that they are in this mess it is both sides being greedy.

Besides, there are other options out there. I was on a road trip today and stopped into a Walmart of course no Twinkies but they had Little Debbie Cloud cakes and even though it has been a few years since I had a Twinkie I decided to buy a box of them. They look exactly like a Twinkie and they even taste like them from what I remember.

:D

Right. Neither side is blameless. The bankruptcy judge throw out the payment and told them to contain to bargain.
