Pinnacle Liquid Gloss Rinseless Wash with Carnauba

Here is a link with Todd explaining how to do a Rinsless:autopia:

Hola Autopians

I want to share my thoughts on this rinseless and a little summary on how it compares to others I have tried.

The Process
This is straight forward, the bottles states 1oz to 2 gallons of water. My wifes Tonka Truck was a little soiled so I did 1.5 oz to 2 gallons of water. I also have a habit of spraying the really soiled parts of the car down with a waterless wash and I used Pinnacle Waterless to do so.

Final thoughts:
I have used various rinseless washes such as BF, Megs D114, DG, ONR, and now the Pinnacle. I use the BF and D114 as my go to rinsless and this will join the duo. The Pinnacle leaves a super slick finish, and an impressive nuba glow. With all these rinseless washes being great products it’s hard to choose a favorite, and this will be my rule of thumb:

-I will use the BFRW when I have a sealant as my LSP
-I will use the Pinnacle when I have a Nuba LSP
-I will use the Meguiars D114 when the car is really dirty and I don’t want to alter the look of the LSP.

Hope this helps and please feel free to ask questions

Thanks for the review.

I agree with your thoughts and concept of using different washes based on your LSP of choice and overall goals. I tend to do the same even with regular washes.

Thanks for posting a great review. I'll have to give this product a try and I will have a great excuse to purchase more stuff.

I may have tro try this when all my other Rinseless washes are expired. I like the regulare pinnacle car soap though, so I'm sure this will be good as well.

I'm confused by the using different waterless washes on different LSPs part. Are you just doing that so you can use a different variety of products, or are you using that because the results actually differ?

Thanks for the review!

It more of a guideline I like to do. It's not gospel that you have to use a Nuba based WW on a Nuba LSP... Some don't like the altered look of the LSP and this may help. But it's in the eye of beholder and 90% is the placebo effect:D

Gotcha, yeah I may just use this product on every car I do lol!

So new question: Say I pressure washed to remove any dirt and film of dirt of the car. Then I foamed it with CG Maxisuds. Then pressure washed it off.

Then did Pinnacle Waterless Wash with wax. If I applied a true LSP on top, would the LSP have really low durability because it is bonded to what I imagine is a not very long lasting wax in the Pinnacle?

If I made that confusing to read, let me know and I will try to explain better :lol2:

IMO, you should use a Waterless with out protection during the initial cleaning. Once the LSP is applied then using a waterless with wax to maintain would be great to help extend the LSP.

That sounds like a reasonable approach. I have UWW+ also, so I'll probably do that initially and then go to Pinnacle.

This way I can actually use the cheaper product per wash, which is pinnacle, more often. (Thanks again for that awesome chart, Ben!)

I think the polymers are minimal. Someone that knows the product better will have to answer that question.

It will be so minimal it should not have a effect on LSP.
Usually how often do we apply a LSP?? 3 to 4 times a year, and when I do I will clean my car with something with the same polymers or traditional wash. On my black car I usually only use Blackfire, so it gets a blackfire rinsless wash, then maybe it might get M205 if needed, if it does then I go over the car with Blackfire Waterless and apply BFWD.

On my wifes car and my older car I have used UWW and then straight to LSP.... No problem. Hope this helps.
