BLACKFIRE All N One All Purpose Cleaner- BRAND NEW PRODUCT!!!

ALL..........purpose.......
Lots of use from one 20 ounce bottle.....
Love the soapy looking; On demand :)...

Todd, for paint stripping, do you think the 1 ounce for 4 gallons will strip most any LSP completely or does the ratio need to be tailored some such as 2 oz per 4 gallons, etc.

what is the ph neat vs 3:1 and 10:1?

gallon pricing will be the main reason for how successful this will be in the long term...

You could step up to 2 oz per 4 gallons if you want to make sure nothing remains, but in my testing 1 oz per gallon did a more then effective job. Then again if you have a freshly applied coat of Collinite 845, you may need additional cleaning power.

Could bf apc be used on paint directly, without rinsing? Maybe in a higher dilution? I have some pesky colonite 9xx that survived the wash.

This is moving up fast in my blackfire favorites.... I love the smell!!!!!

I cleaned the leather in the house and my wife also loves using this on various things around the house now.

I got a sample then bought a gallon, really good stuff! Now I just need to use up my other bottles of 4-5 different APCs that I have trying to find my favorite!

I like it better then OPT, OPT never worked that well for me on tires, always had to use full strength, and sometimes spray 2 separate times to remove all the grime. This was the last version, they have since up the strength. Plus I not a wuss to smells, but OPT made me choke everytime I used it. BF works great on tires, even my white letter BFGs @3:1, its a real gem!

Tires are tough for me too. OPC and Mothers All wheel and tire seem to do the best for me although I have also had to use OPC 2x with some good scrubbing. I have had less luck with ARO and Meg's APC+. The problem is it is not often seen (residue tire brown) unless you dry the tire so sometimes I have a surprise,

Hey Todd, what is the recommendation for a "paint safe" dilution ratio? Do I stick with 4-1 or can we use something a little stronger if needed?

what is the difference between the BF APC and the interior cleaner? Seems like I could just get the APC and also use it as a interior cleaner which would reduce product stock but have just as many options for use by using different dilution ratios.

For stripping old wax off I've used full strength with a dawn wash. Wet car down, spray w/ APC (one section at a time) wash with mitt and dawn soap out of a bucket, then rinse.

Thanks 07gtcs - I typically wash the car with my favorite car shampoo and afterwards spray a light coat of P21s TAW over the paint. After that is completely washed & thoroughly rinsed, I treat with Iron X (or similar) and rinse again. At the point I'm ready to clay & polish. Cleaning up between compounding/polishing steps, I'm using Menzurna Top Inspection to remove any residue. I've read that Dawn can dry out the rubber and is not the best choice for paint. Might pm Dr Todd on that one and of course, YMMV but better safe then sorry.

Dont know, but BF APC is safe for interior, probably need at least 10:1

I added 1oz bf APC to my recent wash and it stripped off Duragloss 105 that was 3-4 months old

Right, I've been using TAW straight for the same thing - seems to work well. I'm on my first try with BF APC so I don't have an opinion quite yet, but will look to try it this weekend on my tires. Not scheduled for a full detail again until late September.

4 to 1 is as strong as I would recommend, although many have used undiluted as well. I'm not sure why you would need stronger unless combating some stubborn tar?

In terms of actual performance there is some overlap. Both, when used properly, will clean and remove soiling from interior surfaces. The real difference is in how they work.

There is nothing wrong with going with All N One APC and cutting product stock. That is what it was designed to do!

bump - thx Todd, this write up really helps. Need a stronger leather cleaner for those tough spots and didn't know the proper dilution ratio. And btw, I'm turning into a BF fanboy too.
