long..hot..week

grass was cut friday morning
jeep is washed
grocery shopping done

this evenings plan:
SIX PACK OF CORONA WITH LIME SLICES IN MY FAVORITE CHAIR OUTSIDE. :D

its so oppressive out now, you dont got out unless you got to!

I washed the Dakota truck this morning and got it done by 9 (about 1.5 hrs). It was 80 F or so but humid.

Today I used Griot's Car Wash - a good mid range soap. The BF Midnight Sun on the truck cab was not doing well (slickness, beading much diminished). The hood was in better condition and the sides were sheeting very well.

For some reason my new tires had some white residue (tread to midpoint of sidewall, quite uniform) on them that Meg's APC 4:1 could not remove with a tire brush so I had to get out the Optimum Power Clean to really clean them. The tire brush was useless (just saw brush marks) so I ended up using the microfiber scrub pad and finally cleaned them up. For dessert, I applied Poorboys Bold n Bright on the tires. The master blaster came in handy to install dry them to check the work -- wet tires can hide crud.

I expect to do another car tomorrow am.

Got up @7 this am to wash the car. ONRed it in 15 mins and still dripping sweat by 7:30. Cars & Coffee this morning was great, but it was 90 by 10:00 and probably over 100 on the asphalt.

Only 75 here today .Dont all you Proff. Detailers think about moving here and taking away my work! :D

Its not all paradise here though ,yesterday I got soaked detailing in the rain for the most part of the afternoon trying to finish a job!:rain: I did it though!

I feel sorry for you guys working in the extreem heat! Drink lots and wear cool clothes.
