A rainy day at PBMG reveals a lot of water beading...

Todd@RUPES

Just a regular guy
A gloomy, rainy day in Stuart, Florida....

I am sitting at my desk, watching the rain fall from the sky, dreaming of a refreshing frothy beverage, the beach, and sand.. (or working on a dual action polisher article) when I notice the two cars out my office window. Each is beading water intensely.

I stroll through PBMG's parking lot revealed a lot of water beading (as expected as everybody here is crazy about car care) so I grabbed my Nikon and fired off a couple of water beading pictures.

Great thread! You'd be hard pressed to find a vehicle in this parking lot that doesn't bead water. :inspector:

What really caught my eye was the beading on this vehicle...

I actually detailed it last August and sole product used was Pinnacle XMT 360. This paint has not seen any type of spray wax, spray detailer, etc, since then. Impressive! :rockon

Pictures taken the first week of August 2011.

that's hard to believe that all you detail fanatics didn't rush to pull the rides into the warehouse before the rain. that's ok todd, because we know you promptly ran out after the rain with your Cobra Ultimate Guzzler Waffle Weave Drying Towel, 28 x 44 inches.

I would assume beading water is a job requirement.

If not, then someone gets to demo some stuff on it like Stig or Nick so it does bead and look purdy.

NO but we all run outside in lab coats with the expensive tools to measure water beading (maybe).

It's nice to have a warehouse full of great products to choose from to keep those cars protected from all that warm sunny weather.....:lol2:

100* in the shade makes it a little difficult sometimes here in the dirty south. :passout:

I wish my parking lot looked like that. I think I'm the only one that washes their vehicle :lol2:

This sounds like a good enough reason to find a new job!
