95 3000GT Spyder Car Wash Fix. Orinda Auto Detail

So I'm really to busy to being this write up but I knew you guys would get a kick out the back story so I'll keep it short. Little old lady comes in with her red 3000gt asking me about a detail yesterday at 2pm I see the car it has oxidation and heavy buffer swirls you can see through the oxidation. Kinda weird never seens swirls through oxidation ok... So talk to her for a few about the condition of paint and how it needs correction to fix it gonna be $$$. All good up to this point she says lets do it. after writing up the paper work she says "should I come back in 30 minutes or 45" my thought huh???? I told her it would take at least till the end of the day tomorrow if were lucky. Her response "X car wash who did it for me in 35 min, Why will it take you so long" I asked how long ago this was and she said 2 weeks earlier and they only charged me a little bit less than you are. You guys get the rest. GREEDY Car wash.... Really messed up too, makes all detailers look bad because most people don't know the difference between the two.

Ok so steps
Wash 9 millions pound of compound out of every crack and crevous
Scrub all trim till it turned black agian
Clay 3m perfect it
wash again
3m green tape
3m perfect it compound, yellow ccs 7' dewalt rotary
wash
tape
flex 401 DA Menz SIP 5.5 CCS Orange pad
Flex 401 DA Menz RD85 5.5CCS Gray pad
Fuzion
Pinnacle

halograms through the oxidation very strange

50/50 on hood after compound/SIP only I figured I was on the right track at this point

It's red again! just after RD85 no LSP yet

Yeah it is the first hard top convertible came out in 95. This is a VR-4 twin turbo AWD one I thought it was halarious the little old was driving it and she told me she races people all the time.

How happy was the little old lady?

Extremely her exact words "WOW THAT IS WHAT IT'S SUPPOSE TO LOOK LIKE!" then she swore off the car was and said she'd always bring it here lol. wrote me a 100$ check for a tip lol
