How do you guys recommend cleaning/dressing the plastic around the exterior bed and bottom panels on a Chevy Avalanche?

Poorboys Trim Restorer does a good job on them as well.
Bill this is an application problem..With PB TR you apply using a cotton or hard foam applicator, let that dry for a few minutes or better then buff using cotton towel. This evens out the product and will keep it from streaking in the rain or while washing
I would recommend Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus. The more I use this stuff, the more I am impressed. It is, IMO, one of the best dressings available.
I agree Todd!
I've been using Ultima Tire & Trim Guard for about 2 years with exceptional results! But since I'm the kind of guy who like to try out new products and stimulate the detailing economy I tried out PERL by CarPro.
I used it according to the instructions on the label plus Corey and a few others have tested it and posted their dilution ratios. I believe I used 1 part water and 3 parts PERL.
It sprays on easy and is milky in appearance. I let it sit on the clean tire for a few minutes then wipe down with a Microfiber pad. It does leave a nice even color.

After a couple of hours I gave it a second coat following the same procedure and it's been about 2 weeks and the tires still look exceptionally crisp.
Just wanted to let everyone know...:bigups.
