While the wheels are new I thought I'd get a coat of sealant on them. Using the technique used here by Legacy GT:

So I cleaned with alcohol (20%) and then spritzed the wheel with Ultima Paint Guard and worked it in with the small 3 finger mitts sold here. They really "froth" up the sealant and get it into all the nooks and crannies. The dry backside of mitt was used to level it, and finally a single light MF pass to level again. Again, no buffing. walk away. This is easy!
