We are have our cell phones and time from time switch carriers, I just drop my carrier ( 6 long years with them ) and pay them my last bill a week ago and now I own them more.:( it seems like all they try to do is to get into one's pockets and get the most they can from one ( they say it's fee's and taxes ). I just was wondering how many have been switching carriers out lately and if they too bill you too much or just keep billing you for no reason. Anyone?

Angelo,
Were you on a "Plan" with your former wireless carrier? If so, did you bail out early ?
If so, there are fees attached with doing that.

Did you leave your carrier and move to another one and take your phone nbr/s with you?
If so, then your former carrier and your new carrier have to arrange for the new one to "Port" your existing numbers over to them. Someone has to pay for this Im guessing.

The bills are lengthy but they should be explaining what is being charged when. If not, have you called their Customer Service people and asked to speak to a Supervisor about this?

Good luck with this, mi amigo !

I just switched from a t Mobile contract to Virgin Mobile monthly plan ($35 for 300 minutes talk time and unlimited texting/messaging and data). A few hassles at the beginning when my PayPal acct. was cancelled when I transferred my old cell number to VM.

So far so good.

I was out of the plan I had with T-Mobile ( over 6 years running ) Dan. It just a way they can make more money in the long run IMO. Dan I did talk to 2 supervisor's who took my bill and cut 95% off due to their mistakes, even after the bill was paid in full. One thing I won't be going back to them in the near future.

i hear you angelo, you would think after 6yrs they would treat you better, but unfortunately these big corporations really don't care. you're just another number.

T-Mobile has a prepaid plan (no contract) for $30 monthly with 1500 minutes/text/30mb internet. I know because I'm on it. They have another, also prepaid, with unlimited everything that's a bit more money.

I have been with ATT for almost 3 years. Luckily I have grandfathered unlimited data. I do feel your pain Angelo. It seems like all these hidden fees keep adding up.

Over time the prices will tend to go up unless you accept less service or find another hungrier provider.
