Poorboy's Purple Foam Pad

Hey guys!

I played around with the Purple Foam Pad from Poorboy's the other day. I decided to try it out on my Flex with Poorboy's Super Swirl Remover 2.5 on a 2011 Deep Cherry Red Dodge Caravan rental. This van had definitely been neglected, as you can imagine. I touched a few spots very lightly with some 2000 grit wet/dry sand paper. There were some scratches that I really wanted to get rid of and I knew that would do the trick. Then I started the process.

On the hood I didn't sand anything just buffed with the Flex and Purple Pad. I used the SSR2.5 thinking this would be a good test for it with the Purple Pad and it was. I ran the Flex at around speed 5 and it did a nice job. Granted you would yield a little bit better results with a rotary but I decided to stick with the polisher this time.

There were a few other random small spots that I addressed, but didn't take a picture. I finished the whole thing with Poorboy's Polish W/ Carnuba Blue. This product is a great AIO that I use quite often! It gives a nice light polish with a thin layer of Carnuba to ad some great gloss. Works well for jobs that you can't spend the time on going through each step yet want nice results.

Great results, that looks 1,000,000x's better. Looked for the pads and couldn't find them, can you post a link?

These are the same Purple Foam Pads that are from Lake Country? Looks great from your pictures Tyler.

Great results!

SSR2.5 is one of my favorite 1-step products. Plus it smells awesome.

I am very interested in this purple pad!
